Technical Manager for E-commerce

Project overview

As a Technical Manager for E-commerce, you have the role and responsibility of looking after our tech stack, funnels, website, server, and platforms.
We are an e-commerce company with a focus on products within the health and maintenance niche.

We are a team of 20 and growing, and we are looking for a Project Manager with technical skills (ideally a former Developer with experience managing or leading tech teams, and designing and implementing architectural frameworks.)
Goal: We want to optimize the process of creating checkout pages, where we can easily update a checkout page pricing + checkout for currency duplication.


– 1-2 years experience in developing (worked with all or either JavaScript and PHP/C+/API experience);
– 2-3 years at least as eCommerce Project Manager;
– Experience with media buying and eCommerce platforms, for example, Shopify, etc;
– Upper-intermediate and higher in English with strong communication skills.

– Knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required.


– Architect a clean, simple tech stack, ideally using ‘off the shelf’ solutions wherever possible, that facilitates rapid AB testing and fast first paint/dom interactive times without heavy dev team reliance;
– Implementing and troubleshooting a variety of advertising and user behaviour tracking solutions, including but not limited to Google Analytics and Voluum;
– Audit our current tech stack and platforms, and come up with a strategy to consolidate these with the objective of simplifying our funnel flows;
– Be able to plan and execute roadmaps to simplify our checkout pages creation;
– Improving upon or re-developing Konnektive checkout funnels to provide better sales performance as well as flexibility and speed of implementation for new products and AB tests;
– Work closely with the Sr. Project Manager, and the Tech team to deliver projects and tasks.

Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software, including but not limited to:
– Standard Operating Procedures – in case you’re out of office;
– Templates – to make processes easier for the next time.

Reports – We want to know how your work increases conversion and other related marketing KPIs.

Communicating with the team on a regular basis to provide project status updates and promptly informing of any delays to meeting deadlines.
